Peter Szulczewski

As the co-founder and CEO of Wish, Peter Szulczewski leads a stealthily emerging unicorn-startup that is valued at over $8 billion. Wish is one of the leading mobile commerce platforms in North America and Europe that works with over 100,000 merchants, and has more than 160 million registered users. Szulczewski is focused on giving everyone access to the most affordable, convenient and effective shopping mall in the world.

Peter is a strong believer in technology that improves the lives of people when and wherever it is applicable. As a former engineer at Google, Szulczewski spent six and a half years at developing core technology powering Google AdWords and Google web search. In 2010, Szulczewski cofounded ContextLogic, an online ads startup, in San Francisco with Danny Zhang. The pair later pivoted the company to Wish which raised $500 million in a round led by Yuri Milner's DST Global.

Peter attended the University of Waterloo with co-founder, Danny Zhang, where he graduated summa cum laude with an applied mathematics and computer science degree. Szulczewski also worked with Microsoft, ATI and Nvidia. Szulczewski’s team is comprised of former Google, Facebook and Yahoo engineers that have first-hand experience in building industry leading consumer products. The Wish merchant platform makes it easy to effortlessly generate sales.
